Mould cooling wants 8–12 °C water with stable flow to every machine; extruders and hydraulics need tower water; PET blowing needs dry compressed air at 40 bar.

Above ten machines a central plant with a buffer tank is cheaper to run and maintain and gives every press the same water. Individual units make sense for isolated presses or special temperatures.
